The Medicine Lake school system has experienced a marked change from the original two room frame building of 1911. Enrollment reached its peak in 1970 at 320 enrolled in the school. Due to an unfortunate fire the morning July 28, 1979, the entire high school building constructed in 1938 was destroyed. The school still opened on time using the remaining facilities. The new structure was completed in 1981 through the combined efforts of a generous community. |
